Support Me !
You can support me on these platforms :PatreonPaypal
Giving you the access to the Early Access section is not an automated process, so it can take some time depending on my availability. Make sure to create an account first. If it's the first time you support me, I will need your username here to give you the access, so write it in the tip note on Paypal or send me a private message on Patreon !
With Paypal, you will receive 31 days of Early Access if you support me for 3€ a month (you can pay for many months at once). With Paypal, there's no subscription, so you must renew it on your own before it expires.
With Patreon, you will get access for the current month, up to the 7th of the next month if you do not renew your subscription. Patreon bills you when you subscribe and at the beginning of every month. Patreon takes a small commission.
Thank you !
Thanks to your support, in April 2021, I earned 41.50€ from 10 people on Patreon. That is about 2.67% of the minimum wage in my country.
To make it worth it to work more on this website after the mod 20 updates are done, I need this number to reach at least 25% (30-50% would be nice to make it really sustainable). To help in that regard, I will put ads on the website. Trust me, I hate ads more than anyone else. But I also need to earn a living, and making an up to date guide at this level of quality takes a lot of time.
Why supporting me ?
This website is the result of 10 months of work almost full time. It first started on MMOMinds.com with my Guide for Clerics (which took an entire month to make and more time to update for mod 18 and mod 19).
I've always enjoyed doing Maths on games, helping people on reddit, and sharing stuff. As people often ask the same questions on reddit, I wanted to make something so that everyone could find the information they need, at least the basics, easily. That's how I started my guide, the most complete guide I could come up with.
First and foremost, this website is a project to make me up to date with the current web technologies, after not being able to work for more than 2 years due to very dry eyes. It was impossible for me to read anything for more than 30 minutes, and Neverwinter was kind of the only thing I could do then, for a couple of hours a day. I still have to be careful, but I can almost work full time hours nowadays (spread in the entire week, including weekends).
With episodic content releases, I'll have to work more regularly on this guide to keep it up to date. While this is something I enjoy doing, I cannot afford spending too much time on this. I have been working on a project of my own (about democracy, sharing ideas, and reaching conclusions that benefit everyone the most, not tied to any party, and not just about politics), which was delayed a lot due to my eyes problems. I need time to work on this project, and I also need to earn a living.
That's where you can do something ! By supporting my work on Patreon, or with Paypal, you can give me time to work on this guide, to develop more features, test more stuff ingame, and to make sure its quality is as great as I'd like it to be. It doesn't have to be much, but if everyone gives a bit, I can do a lot more.
If you cannot afford spending money on me, just send me a nice message.
Anyway, thank you for reading my guide. My work being useful to you already means a lot to me !
If you want to contact me, because I made a mistake somewhere, or you found information that is not on the guide yet, the easiest way is through Reddit.
You can also send me an e-mail at email@example.com.
